The W.H.Y. Programme is NOT a diet!

The W.H.Y. programme subtly changes your relationship with food.

Most people who have a weight problem have an unhealthy relationship with food. We regard food as a comfort, a reward, a replacement or simply an unconscious habit.  Because of this we think about food far more than we should, sometimes we even obsess about it!
We develop cravings for particular food types, e.g. chocolate, crisps or cakes and eat them to excess.  The initial pleasure is soon replaced by guilt and self reproach.

Using Hypnotherapy, NLP and EFT the WHY Programme changes the way you look at food.  So although you will continue to enjoy food (in may cases more than you do now), you will come to regard food for what it really is, FUEL. Fuel, to allow you to get on and enjoy the things you really want to do in life.  It is a necessary part of your life but certainly not a controlling factor.

WHY DIETS DON'T WORK!!

The problem with diets is that most of them reduce the intake of food into your body. This sends a signal telling your brain that your are lacking food and your brain compensates by sending your body into 'starvation mode'.

While in 'starvation mode' your body will take what food you give it and store it as fat.

Because you are depriving your body of food, you will lose weight.  Unfortunately the body does not want to use it's fat stores (because it thinks you are starving) and sheds muscle weight instead.

When you come off your diet, as everyone does sooner or later, your body remains in 'starvation mode' for a time.  This means that although you are eating normally again, your body is still storing the food as fat, and you end up putting on more weight than you lost in the first place!!
