HYPNOTHERAPY

The state of hypnosis is like a
doorway between the conscious and subconscious
areas of your brain. In a hypnotic state you
can access memories and creativity and store new
information. You have direct access to the
power of the subconscious as the deep relaxation
you experience encourages the conscious brain to
step back. In this way you can bypass any
limiting beliefs of the conscious mind such as
‘I can’t do it’, and ask your
intuitive self ‘how can I do it?’
instead.
Combining this access to the
subconscious with modern therapeutic techniques is
the essence of hypnotherapy and explains why long
lasting, positive behavioural change can be
achieved in just a few sessions.
There are many techniques
within the overall discipline of hypnotherapy and
during your sessions you can be confident that
those which will be most effective for your unique
circumstances will be utilised. |

NLP
|
NLP is used to successfully
treat confidence, motivational issues, depression
and anxiety. It is also used in conjunction
with Hypnotherapy to reinforce auto and post
hypnotic suggestion.

|
It is difficult to come up with
a definitive description of NLP. At
it’s base level it is a series of techniques
that help ‘rewire’ the brain to look at
events and situations in a positive more pro-active
way.
For the purpose of this
definition we have separately defined each element.
Neuro
The
mind-body system and how it functions. Physiological
and mental states. The nervous system through which
you experience, interact with, and make sense of our
world, through the sensory systems of vision,
speaking and hearing, and through touch and feeling.
Linguistic The language you use to describe,
categorise, and analyse your reality. How you make
sense of our world and communicate your experience
to others. How you can use language to create
change in your own and others' models of the world.
Programming The
thought patterns and habitual ways of perceiving and
behaving. You learn to interpret the world based on
your experience, according to your needs. You
develop repeated sequences of behaviour and
strategies that get you what you want, and create
stories to explain those experiences. Because these
are of your own making, it is possible to re-program
them.

HYPNOANALYSIS
|
Hypno-analysis is used to
successfully treat anxiety, phobias, depression,
low self-esteem, all types of fear,
sexual/physical/ emotional abuse, eating disorders,
somatic disorders and most other emotional,
behavioural, and spiritual problems and issues.

A powerful form of therapeutic
hypnosis is Hypno-analysis or Medical Hypnosis.
In the relaxed hypnotic state, the
subconscious mind is more accessible.
Hypnosis opens the door to the subconscious
and Analysis searches the subconscious for the
root cause of the problem so the client can
understand and resolve the origin of the problem
rather than just treat the symptom. Hence the
term Hypno-analysis.
Once the underlying cause of
the problem is identified, it can be resolved.
The symptom may have been useful at one time,
but really isn’t any more. While in
hypnosis clients are given the opportunity to
resolve the root cause of the problem.
For
example, children often think they are to blame or
otherwise misinterpret life events which really are
the responsibility of the adults around them.
A child may carry that wrong belief into
adulthood and develop symptoms to compensate for
the feelings that go with them. Going back to
that memory while in hypnosis gives the adult the
chance to reinterpret the event more appropriately.
Once that is done, it is often a relatively
simple matter to give up the symptom given positive
reinforcement to do so.

EFT
|
It is astounding the symptoms
that Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has successfully treated. These
include problems as diverse as snoring, depression,
abuse issues, addictions and improving your golf
handicap.
|
|
Most people are familiar with
acupuncture. EFT is a form of "emotional
acupressure." Dr. Roger Callahan, a clinical
psychologist, is credited with the pioneer work
which led to the following.... Tapping, with a finger,
on specific acupuncture/meridian points, while
focussing one’s attention on a problem
removes the emotional component.
EFT works by removing the
negative emotional component from a memory, event,
circumstance or situation. All negative emotions
are a disruption in the body’s energy
circuits. Learning and using this technique removes
distress within your body. Doing so can have a
profound and pleasant effect on attitude,
perception, relationships and yes, even health.
