example: You really want to give this
presentation. You have some really good points to
make and you know that your clients will be really
interested in what you say (self motivation on a
conscious level).
But then a nagging thought come unbidden into your mind
- remember that last presentation, you made a bit of a
mess of that, you were nervous, lost your place in the
script, lost the attention of your audience - No, better
be safe than sorry, let one of your colleagues do it (negative
thoughts from your subconscious mind) |
