cigarettes you smoke a day from the 3rd row. Trace the column down from the number of cigarettes to
your age and that will tell you how much you will spend on cigarettes if you continue smoking until the
age of 65 (the average life expectancy for a smoker).
I have built in an annual increase
of 5%. This is probably on the low side now because of the smoking
ban - so many of you sensible people out there will stop smoking so, in my
opinion, the government will
make up it's lost revenue by increasing dramatically the tax on cigarettes.
